Why Zenus Bank?
There is a marked disparity that exists between clients from different geographic locations throughout the world in their access to financial services, even ones as basic as cross-border payments or fund transfers.
Web 2.0 is driving users towards ever better digital experiences, urbanization and globalization. The need for global financial inclusion where individual customers as well as businesses have access to useful and affordable financial services across transactions, payments, savings, through digital banking is more apparent than ever.
After years of research and preparation to find the optimal regulatory environment where a business model overcoming many of these financial inclusion challenges could come to fruition, and securing a license within that environment – Zenus Bank was conceived and is in a unique position to fill this need.
Zenus is a new US Bank with an international banking license that allows us to offer financial services to any individual or corporate entity from any country (not sanctioned by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control “OFAC”).
Our Vision
The first U.S. bank for global clients! To enable global financial inclusion, not only across multiple geographies but also across all levels of society. By providing a secure, accessible & technologically advanced cross-border e-Banking solution to individual and corporate customers throughout the world.
Our Mission
To become the competitive edge for our customers who have cross-border business or consumption needs. To provide a transparent fee-based membership structure with market leading technology making our services accessible to the widest demographic possible globally.
Our Philanthropic business model
Social Inclusion is defined by the World Bank as: The process of improving the terms on which individuals and groups take part in society—improving the ability, opportunity, and dignity of those disadvantaged on the basis of their identity.
Extract from “Analysing and Measuring Social Inclusion in a Global Context” by the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations:
“In the past 20 years, there has been steady progress in achieving socio-economic development, promoting wider support for democratic values and strengthening collaborative relationships among governments, social institutions and civil society worldwide. Yet, at the same time, inequality and exclusion not only persist, but are expanding in many parts of the world, both within and between countries. Many societies are facing negative social conditions, such as widening disparities and marginalization of certain groups and/or communities. To prevent the further increase of social tensions among their members, it is vital that societies be equipped with strategies and tools for adequately assessing the realities and addressing existing challenges in a more proactive, constructive and holistic way, so that they may become better prepared for new challenges and more resilient in confronting them and better able to adjust to emerging imbalances—and to adjust more quickly, less violently and more sustainably.”
Zenus Bank’s commercial strategy has philanthropic benefits of global social & financial inclusion by enabling a large demographic of individuals and corporates around the world to access developed global banking services. Providing them with the ability to source products globally to build small businesses and create wealth.
This in turn creates prosperity, jobs and tax revenue for foreign governments. Consumers, Entrepreneurs, Freelancers & SMEs based in countries that don’t have accessible solutions that integrate with the global financial system. Our products and services will be geared towards this growing demographic who see opportunity but don’t have access to take advantage of these opportunities.
