Does Zenus allow me to make international payments during a weekend?

You can make international payments during the weekends. The transaction(s) may not go through until business hours.

Can I get rate alerts?

Currently, Zenus Bank does not send rate alerts. We only check the exchange rate at the moment of transaction.

What's the real exchange rate?

Zenus uses the market rate for currency exchange. Sometimes this is called the mid-market rate, Interbank rate and spot rate amongst other things.

The real exchange rate is the mid-point between the BUY and SELL rates on the global currency markets and it constantly fluctuates. It’s the rate you find on Reuters, Google, finance.yahoo.com, etc. and the rate that TransferWise uses.

As we use smart technology for most of our transfers, we simply take in rate data from these sites and apply it when converting your money.

What foreign exchange rate will I get?

Zenus uses institutional bank rates for currency exchange. We charge a small mark up dependent on whether the transaction is made during or outside market hours. Please read our Charges and Fees page for the latest information.

Can I invest in cryptocurrency with my Zenus account?
Zenus Bank does not offer the option to hold, invest, or manage cryptocurrencies in our bank accounts. We also do not support or facilitate any activities related to cryptocurrencies.

What countries can I bank with?

You can send and receive transfers from countries not under sanctions, typically those where you can open an account with us. To find the list of eligible countries, please click the link below titled 'Which countries can I apply from?' If your country is not listed, it's due to our licensing and regulatory constraints that prevent us from operating there.
