If an ACH payment to a Zenus account has been declined you will need to contact the bank from which the payment was made. When a bank declines an ACH payment it may be because the bank account details were incorrect or there was insufficient funds in the account.
ACH payments
An ACH payment is a form of electronic bank-to-bank payment made in the US via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. You can make ACH payments with Zenus to cost-effectively pay funds to accounts in the US. ACH payments are considered domestic US transfers, which allows clients to transfer between US bank networks.
If you are having challenges making an ACH payment check you have all the correct bank account information. ACH payments can only be made to other US banks. If you are trying to make a payment to a non-US bank you will need to select the SWIFT/Wire payment service. If you're paying another Zenus client why not try making a Zen Transfer, they're free of charge and instant.
