You are eligible if you decline the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW/LDW) or similar coverage offered by the car rental company in its rental agreement

Requirements and applicability
You must possess a valid and active Zenus Visa card and use it to purchase the entire travel fare(s) or through the Visa rewards program.
This protection will not cover trips returning to the original city of residence in the insured person’s home country.
You will have up to 30 days to open a claim. Claims can be made via the Visa Benefits Portal.

This protection does not apply to travel tickets purchased from common carriers registered, or of property of, Cuba, Syria, Sudan, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, or other countries listed on OFAC.
When you pay the full price of your tickets with your valid and active Visa card, you, your spouse and dependent children under 23 years of age are each automatically covered, for any baggage that is lost due to theft or sent to the wrong destination while under the control, care and custody of an airline or other carrier by water or land operating under a valid license to transport passengers.
