What are ACH payments?

ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments are designed to be low cost, high speed and for US transfers only. ACH can be used not only for transfers but paying bills and trading quickly too.

This is an alternative method if your recipient doesn’t have a Zenus Bank account – but will incur an ACH transfer charge of $15 to send. It’s free to receive ACH payments to your Zenus account, however this may be subject to additional charges from the sending bank.

Transfers can typically take between 1-2 business days to reach the recipient, as they are processed in batches by all the banks in the network, usually three times a day with a 3pm AST daily cut off.
