About the role

To drive our global reach our partners are opening a London office for marketing and technology operations and require an experienced Digital Executive to help manage our website and deliver a host of digital projects.

As the digital executive your role is to help the marketing team develop and deliver all the digital infrastructure and assets required to propel the business through this digital transformation.

You’ll be working alongside seasoned professionals and agencies, helping you to develop your skills and will have exposure to senior executives within the business also.

To succeed in this role, you will have a passion for delivering great user experiences and all things digital, working autonomously and great attention to detail.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Assist Marketing in defining the strategy, designing and delivering a new global website and supporting infrastructure (CMS, Google Analytics, CRM)

  • Support the business in delivering a brand refresh across all digital channels (web, social, email, apps etc.)

  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to drive business revenue, client lifetime value and engagement across all digital channels (web, social, email, apps etc.)

  • Work with external agencies and partners to plan and deliver digital assets on time and to budget

  • Work with the wider business (IT, Compliance, Product...) to ensure digital material is compliant on brand and technically sound

  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)

  • Plan coordinate and drive onsite SEO performance (keyword, image optimization etc.)

  • Prepare online articles, promotional emails and organize their publishing and distribution through various channels

  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website

  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience

  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, HotJar, etc.)

  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date

  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors

About you

  • 2-5 years proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role. Agency or client side. Preferably in a FinTech, Bank or regulated business

  • Experience working in and developing a CMS (Umbraco preferable)

  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices

  • Experience with B2B and B2C social media, Google Adwords, email campaigns and SEO/SEM

  • Basic coding capability is an advantage

  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, HotJar etc.)

  • Analytical mindset, critical thinking and detail orientated

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, written and verbal communication skills - English essential, Spanish a benefit

  • A self-starter, can manage yourself but still want to learn from those around you

  • Confident in communicating with your team and senior colleagues and partners

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • Experience or an affinity with financial services, payments/banking or FX trading is a bonus but not essential.
