About the role

We are a seeking an Agile Delivery Lead, and/or Project Management with 5+ years of progressive experience.

As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will be performing a unique role that will include aspects of project management, business analysis, and agile delivery.

In this role, you will serve as an IT leader for the end-to-end delivery of projects and offerings on a technical team. You’ll help to envision, build, and launch the best possible solutions, on time and on budget. You’ll need to have experience with agile techniques, project management, and business analysis and domain or technical knowledge in the area they support.

As part of our team, you’ll partner with IT associates and other organizations within Zenus Bank and multiple partners to facilitate project delivery and motivate teams to achieve program goals. You’ll create and improve team processes, coach on agile best practices, and communicate with stakeholders and senior management. You’ll communicate to stakeholders at different levels of the organization to promote collaboration and coordination. You’ll communicate status for multiple projects and monitor achievement of program milestones.

To be successful in this role, you’ll also need to have very good communication, organization, negotiation, and consensus building skills. You will communicate regularly with leadership on status, risks, plans, and changes in technical strategy. Managing up, down, and across the organization will also be essential to your success.

Roles and responsibilities

  1. Serve as a delivery lead on complex projects in the Banking, Fintech and Financial Services space.
  2. Provide overall leadership and guidance and manage all aspects of a given program.
  3. Ensure that projects are correctly scoped, estimated, and defined, delivered on time and on budget, and meet business and technical requirements.
  4. Provide excellent insight into new projects around dependencies and potential issues, help shape the design of projects, and rapidly identify and resolve technical dependencies and risks.
  5. Lead IT project teams to communicate business priorities and identify appropriate solutions Negotiate innovative business solutions that will satisfy customer needs, are consistent with architectural guidelines, and conform to security standards.
  6. Develop a deep understanding of offerings and vision to help guide development.
  7. Understand high-level technical architecture and be able to facilitate debate and guide decisions on appropriate solutions.
  8. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement through new processes and tools.
  9. Promote agile mindset throughout the organization.
  10. Effectively apply knowledge to projects and enforce project standards and team norms.
  11. Provide coaching for team members to improve knowledge and delivery skills.
  12. Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; guide escalation and resolution of issues.
  13. Track progress against milestones, deadlines, and budget; manage the projects’ budget and financial reporting.
  14. Develop resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities.
  15. Develop detailed project plans and associated documentation for complex initiatives.
  16. Convey project strategy, status, direction, and changes to IT Leadership and business stakeholders.
  17. Manage stakeholder communication and promote collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders, including technical, operational, and management associates in other Zenus Bank’s teams, as well as third parties.
  18. Build communication strategy and implement communication plans for informing all project stakeholders at regular intervals.

What you need for this role

  • BA/BS in relevant field and Agile, Scrum and/or Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile Delivery and Project Management in the Banking and/or Financial Services industries.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in Product Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Solid organizational and presentation skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Teamwork and flawless delivery of great customer experience.
